Lester Speyer Community Recreational Complex

Located on Tennsco Drive, off of Highway 47 East

This park has a wide range of activities as well. It holds the Tennsco Community Center. This is a 7600 sq. ft. facility with a covered entry, seating for 700 (theatre style), or 300 (dinner style). It also has a built-in sound system, a 20 x 30 parquet floor, 20 X 15 stage with lights, a full kitchen. The Kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators and stoves, an ice machine, 2 microwaves, sinks and a serving window. It also has indoor and outdoor restroom facilities. There is adequate parking for 300. This facility is available for rental for wedding receptions, reunions etc., with fees on the schedule below. This park also holds four adult softball fields with regulation 300ft fences and electric scoreboards on all fields. There are also two regulation size, lighted basketball courts, restrooms and a playground with 10,000 sq. ft of play area with sand surface and the latest playground equipment.

Tennsco Park is the home of the Dickson Adult Softball Association. This association consists of several different leagues such as men, women, church co-ed, etc. There are also various softball tournaments held here throughout the season. For more information contact the Park Office.
