DICKSON FIRE DEPARTMENT


Dickson Fire Department is located in Dickson County, TN. The city encompasses 16.5 square miles and has a population of approximately 17,000. Dickson Fire Rescue provides fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services for the city of Dickson. Dickson Fire Rescue maintains and operates three fire stations, which are manned twenty-four hours a day. Included in the operations are three engines, two quints, two rescue trucks (one dual purpose as a brush truck), two boats and one fire rescue UTV.

RURAL FIRE SERVICE


If you live outside the city limits of Dickson but are within five (5) miles of one of our stations, then you can subscribe to our program to receive fire protection. Buying our service could save you money on your homeowners insurance, contact your insurance agent to find out if this will apply to you.


The City of Dickson Fire Department is a full time fire department operating out of three (3) stations. By buying Rural Fire Service Protection you would receive a response from a full time 24/7 fire department in the event of a fire. The fee is calculated at .1% of the improved value of your home.

OUR MISSION


The mission of the Dickson Fire Department is to provide a fire-safe community by developing a population of fire-safety conscious citizens. We will serve these citizens in emergency and non-emergency situations with a well trained, dedicated, and professional staff. In the event of man-made or natural disasters, our priorities are life safety, incident stabilization, and property conservation.
